Would anyone hire a chef to cook to cook at their own residence? Not catering though just a casual evening.?

I was wondering if anyone out there would hire a cook/chef to cook at thier own home for a csual midweek meal. Say this person doesnt cook very well and wants a great meal , but not from the box, or resturant. Take this scenario, a man wants to make a great romantic dinner for his girlfriend, not bieng the best cook he calls this guy , gives an idea of what he wants, the guy gets all the supplies and comes to your house to make it... I was just curious if anyone here would do that and if so what would you feel was a fair price. for lets say, baked chicken with artichokes and mushroom wine sauce, with fresh green salad and a homemade vinegarette, and grilled asparagus with apple smoked bacon.. thanks for any input on this

Okay here's the problem: I am a black woman who was raised in a prodimately black neighborhood, went to all black schools and had almost all black friends. But I recently started attending a university and moved to a neighborhood that is demographically diversed. Now that I am learning about and mixing with other cultures, I find myself attracted to white guys; they are pive, smart, sweet and true gentlemen (not to mention hotties!). I am starting to make white boy/girlfriends and we have a blast together, but sometimes I feel like I am too "hood" or "ghetto" with them and now my black friends seem to think I am becoming a nerd or somethin and that I think I am better than them. Anyone know the law on restrom breaks in the work place?

I work in a prison. We have cluster dorms with 80 inmates in each dorm. There is no Officer bathroom in the dorms. I am a female at a male camp so there is no "using the inmate bathroom" for me as so many males do. I am also pregnant. Now I have asked for no special treatment since getting pregnant. We have 3 dorms that have restrooms but they put me on the ones without. Anyway, we have to cal for reliefs when we have to use the bathroom because we cannot leave the dorm unattended. I dont drink all nigth long and still get up every 2 hours to go to the bathroom so it's not like I am drinking a lot at work. I drink about 2 bottles of water in 8 hours just so I dont have to go as often. I still go just about every 1 1/2 hours. I talked to my boss about this today because I could tell it was getting on his nerves (not that he has to releive me). But he rudly told me that I need to limit my fluid intake and see a doctor because this was not normal for even pregnant women to urinate this much. And that I'm only 3 months and nothing is even putting pressure on my bladder yet. (my uterus is about the size of a large mellon right now so yes there is pressure and also pressure isnt the only thing that causes this. Anyway, don't want to get into the entire conversation because it really upset to be talked to like this infront of people and for people to see me crying. After asking him to speak in private. I was so upset I had to pull over on the way home from work and call my husband to pick me up because I could hardly breath. The cops stopped and wanted to call an ambulance but I didn't want them to. Anyway, does anyone know the rules for breaks? Which Canon t2i value pack would be more worth my money?

First, are you sure you will use the HD video funcation of the t2i? If not i'd go for a 40D instead, a much better camera. If you are really set on getting the t2i get the 55-250 lens, it is rated much higher then the 75-300. Personally i'd recommend a prime lens, as it allows you to shoot in lower light and get a super bokeh on your pictures. Remember a camera is only as good as the gl you use with it!

Please Help! Day Care uming my daughter has been ually abused!?

Wow, my daughter is 4 and in daycare and I had an experience with her daycare when my daughter was 2. When my daughter was 2, my daughter would get bruises all over her body. I mean she would have about a dozen to two dozen bruises all over her body. She would have bruises on her back, legs, neck, feet, anywhere and everywhere. And my daughter's daycare accused me of physically abusing my daughter. I was so concerned about my daughter's bruising, I brought her to see her doctor and he was really concerned because some bruises were at places that you really wonder how she would of gotten a bruise there. He sent my daughter for blood tests and it came back that she had a blood disorder that would cause bruises. I spoke with my daughter's daycare about her condition and they apologized for accusing me of physically abusing my daughter but it was too late. I had lost complete trust in my daughter's daycare. I had my daughter change daycare and this daycare and I had a talk about my daughter's blood disorder and the bruises and they were very understanding. If I were you, I would definetely take her out of that daycare. Definetely. I hope everything works out for you

Easiest way is to run Windows XP alogside OS-X Leopard on your mac, you can do this with Bootcamp. It just asks you what you want to use when you start your Mac.. There are MAc games, not as many as Windows But you can rub Rge Sims 2 on a Mac You need the installer or I'm not sure if there's a special Mac version, probably the Windows way's better, you can still have OS-X and Windows will not interfere it'll just not run at all while OS-X is running. I want to get my cartilage pierced but I'm really scared?

I'm so so so scared. My mom has given me permission (since December!) that i can get my cartilage done. I've researched a bit, and read that half the time it gets infected, and it's reallly bad! My bike was stolen 3/17/07, it was recovered last Wednesday. It was theft ring in northern Georgia. The theives had begun to strip my bike. The engine, frame, wheels are all intact. The top of the bike, the tank, seat, fairings had been removed but are recovered. The battery is gone the ignition is gone and the wheel lock broken. There are many wires that are unattached and just hanging. The plug wires and coils appear to be intact. It is more of lights, and there is no computer, if there was one. Okay so i got two little studs in my outer conch done for my 18th birthday. He used a completely sterilized needle and i made sure everything was clean and freshly opened. I havent had any problems or pain from it until today ( i think i messed with the top stud too much.) It's throbbing a bit and its causing a little pain to my ear but not completely unbearable. Why wont my kids sleep!?

First my 3 year old, stopped taking naps already! If i do make him lay down for a nap say 1pm or so, he will sleep till 3(forget trying to make him wake up sooner, i could throw him across the room and he wouldnt flinch until hes ready to get up). and then after that nap, i can get him to bed until 11pm or later!! My youngest, she is one...i made a big mistake i know, early on by rocking her to sleep. not to make excuses, but i did it because my husband works shift work, so i didnt want to wake him or my son everytime she would wake up...now im suddenly having HUGE problems getting her to sleep and keeping her asleep! she fights, and fights and rolls around when im trying to rock her to sleep. she now is only letting me put her down for one nap a day, a short one, and is fighting sleep at nighttime to where its as late as 11pm as well! im about to go crazy! she even wakes in the middle of the night now to make me rock her back to sleep...and on top of all this, im bf still, trying to wean her, and its like part of this problem started when i started weaning...its like she is rebeling and now trys to make me bf to sleep!! oh, im just so over whelmed i just dont know what to do!!! any suggestions will help me, ive tried putting her in her crib to fight it out, i cant just leave the room and let her cry i think thats cruel, so i sit in there with her, but how long should i wait for her to go to sleep! today, i sat in there an hour and a half! by that time, she needed a new diaper and we worked up an appitite! please please please please someone give me some advice THAT WORKS PLEASE!!!! i need that nanny 911 show or something drastic like that lol!!sorry so long....

I have personally seen unmasked boards in red, blue and black, but It might be hard to find and would probably be an extra cost option. If the green your referring to is a shiny emerald green what your seeing is a translucent, colored ink called solder mask ink. It is screen printed onto the board to repel solder every where except the points where the connections are made. I have seen black solder mask ink on boards before. If you ask at your board house of choice it may be a low or no cost option. If it's too shiny for your application you can spray it with a matte clear. This might give you the look you want without having to buy custom made carbon fiber copper clad! That would be cool though... Hmmm.

I noticed my daughter would always run to a corner to do her business. She was fully peeing in the potty since a week after potty training all on her own, but the pooping was just not happening. Even when I rushed her on the toilet when I saw the signs, she'd hold it in then just go in her panties! It slowly got better where she'd poo in the toilet, but the next time in her pants. It was about 3 months after being fully pee trained that she just all on her own started pooping consistently. We told her we'd go out to eat (as we always eat at home) so she had that to look forward to. As soon as she was going poop in the toilet during the day all the time the night time pull up was taken away. She never had pee accidents at night, but when potty training started she was pooping at night.

When he moves out, she allowed him to take his two daughter with him to live with him, because she did not want to take them away from there father (a very good father). So I finish the whole operation, kill all the kyriaki and stitch up all the abrasions on the intestine. When it zooms out to his opening that I cut to get inside, I stitch it up, then it zooms out again and I put the green gel on it. When I go to put the bandage on it, it just keeps saying 'miss' 'miss' 'miss'. Every single time! I tried to put it on multiple ways and it still says 'miss'. Eventually the timer just runs out. If it is the type that is on top of the fuel tank there is no adjustment. Alot of the newer carburetors don't have adjustments other than speed. Everything is fixed on the inside.

Ageing Beef.?? How long for?

I have bought a whole rump of beef (6.550 kilos) and it is in one of those vacuumed sealed bags (cryovac) I bought it on the 30th of July and it says best before the 6th of August but i am wanting to age it as an experiment as i have never tried doing this.I have it in the bottom of the refridgerator and trying the wet ageing method while it is still in the bag.I did read a method called dry ageing where you take it out of the bag and wrap it in cloth such as tea towels but it says you lose some of the meat as you have to cut the greyish outside layers off.Have any of you tried aging beef and can i go past the 6th of August or what signs am i looking for to tell me its aged enough ??.

Sound was okay. Heard a "click" from the processor. Later discovered no sound. System Restore to point before updates did no good. Checked in Device Manager for audio card driver, okay and updated. Checked in "Sound", it says speakers are working. Checked volume and "mute", no problems there either. Speakers are external and do make a noise when wire is unplugged, so I don't believe they are the problem. Anyone familiar with this computer, HP Pavilion Desktop CTO model d4990y? Is the audio card replaceable or is it integrated with something? Can find little information on this computer, even on the HP support site or other searches.
