Question ET believers?

If the material from the Roswell crash was supposed to have been indestructable, why or how did the alleged craft crash and ter debris in the first place? If the alleged technology was supposed to have been so advanced, surely it wouldn't crash land on re-entry. Any interesting theories among the UFO community on why or how it crashed?
