What is Ghandi's Method of satyagraha?

According to gandhi's ideaology, satyagraha means fight for truth through non violence.... it says that truth always triumphs through non violent methods... he organised the first satyagraha movement in south africa against the racial discrimination of the black men over the white men there.... when he came to india, he deliberately organised satyagrahas at various places seeking justice/ truth for the people there....
